Shaq finally retires, in my opinion if he was dead broke, he'd come back and play some more and be a legit center but when you got money, women, and cars (all the things a guy loves); what's the purpose of taxing your body. Shaq had a wonderful career and although we got to see what lack of working out, eating well, and age does to you (we've been seeing it with Kobe Bryant), Shaq has amplified it with his lack of impact the last 3 to 4 years.
He just was no help to anyone after the win in Miami...
I love him nevertheless because he is just a funny guy, a good guy, and the league will miss him all around!

MIAMI - In the end, Shaquille O'Neal wore out his welcomes with Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. But that was only after wearing out his opponents with some of the greatest displays of strength and scoring that the NBA has ever seen.
The Diesel left the station for good Wednesday, chugging off into retirement.
"We did it," he said on a video link posted with his announcement on Twitter. "Nineteen years, baby. I want to thank you very much. That's why I'm telling you first that I'm about to retire. Love you. Talk to you soon."
Of course he will. The big guy always loved the attention. There's no way you've heard the last of him.
"He made fans believe they were one with him," said James, who played with O'Neal last season in Cleveland. "If you saw him, as big as Shaq is, the way he was with the personality of his... you wouldn't be afraid to talk to him because he was so likable and so outgoing."
